You may have seen my email about the change to billing policy that will be effective February 1st, 2016. The change has become necessary as my practice gets busier. If you compare any other instruction programs including dance, martial arts, crafts, and swimming,to name a few, the business model is the same. You pay a monthly fee for access to a set number of sessions. My time is valuable and with an increase in last minute cancellations and in some cases chronic cancellations I feel I have no other choice.
    I think I have created a fair policy. Most families are very good about the schedule and some are already using monthly billing. Keep in mind if there is an emergency (real emergency) I will issue a credit for missed sessions. But for regular missed lessons including common sick calls and people making other plans there will be no credit issued. There will be an opportunity to do a make-up session including free access to my workshops included with the monthly tuition. You will also get 4 or 5 lessons for the same 4 lesson price, as some months have 5 lesson dates. That helps to balance out some missed sessions.
